About Me

My name is Marco Casini and this is my personal IndieWeb website.

I hold a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Università La Sapienza where I consolidated my genuine passion for distributed systems and cloud architectures and I started a strange obsession for automation. I was born a DevOps and i didn’t know yet.

I’m interested in distributed systems, databases, operating systems, cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and container engines, CI/CD and all its adjacent technologies and concepts.

I’m a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), a HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, and an AWS Certified, reflecting my focus on cloud and infrastructure technologies.

I live in Italy and i’m currently working as Cloud/DevOps Engineer for a SaaS company in the AI industry.

I ride, mostly on two wheels and I watch, read and listen a lot. The Beatles have been the soundtrack to much of my life and many filmmakers and authors have shaped the way I think.
